Kenter Joining Shackles, Grade 3, size ranging from 30 mm to 102 mm

The anchor chains are manufactured using the flash-butt welding method. Every common link in the chain, except the first and last links, is connected to others on both ends. As the chains are permanently welded, detachable shackles are needed to connect the stud link anchor cable chains, offering the same proof load. The most popular joining shackles are kenter-type shackles, so we keep stock for every size of kenter joining shackles corresponding to sizes between 30 mm and 102 mm. And, of course, our kenter shackles are certified by DNV or ABS and manufactured according to IACS requirements.
