Joining Accesories

Anchor chain sections are manufactured in certain patterns, specific diameters, and lengths. Multiple chain lengths, swivel joints, and anchors must be connected to meet the necessary lengths and other operational requirements of the classification societies. As the anchor chain links are permanently connected to each other by the flush butt welding method, some detachable joining accessories must be used to connect the anchor chain sections safely.
